Lisa W. Thomas

Born in New Orleans, LA, and a proud graduate of St. Mary's Academy, Lisa received her Bachelor's Degree from Southern University of New Orleans in 1988.  She received her Law Degree from Southern University Law Center in 2002.  During law school, she served as editor of the Law Review.  Lisa was admitted to practice before the Louisiana State BAR in 2002.  She has been practicing bankruptcy law since 2003 and is licensed to practice before the Federal Courts of the Eastern District of New Orleans, Middle District of Louisiana and Western District of Louisiana.  Lisa has extensive experience representing individuals and corporations Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.

Kiera Thomas

Kiera received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern California in 2006, graduating "Cum Laude". She received her Law Degree from LSU School of Law in 2009.  During Law School Kiera was a member of the Legal Association of Women and Vice-President of the Black Law Students Association. While in law school at LSU, Kiera also received the prestigious CALI Award for Legal Research and Writing.  Kiera was admitted to the Louisiana State BAR in October 2009.  Kiera has been practicing bankruptcy law since 2009 and is licensed to practice before the Federal Courts of the Western District of Louisiana and the Middle District of Louisiana.  Kiera has extensive experience handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, as well as representing creditors in bankruptcy litigation.
